Job Summary
In this role, you will develop electronic components from requirement analysis to design and prototype testing, while ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and EMI regulations.
Your role in the team
- Analyze customer requirements and derive the resulting hardware requirements, including the preparation of design proposals and manufacturing cost estimates
- Prepare and review development effort estimates
- Develop electronic assemblies – from schematic design and PCB layout to prototype commissioning
- Ensure EMC compliance and adherence to relevant standards
- Perform development-related tests (functional, EMC, and environmental testing) and prepare the corresponding test reports
- Support and advise project managers and our customers
- Document your work steps and designs
Our expectations of you
Education
- Completed technical degree (University of Applied Sciences/University) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or a comparable field
Qualifications
- Independent, self-organised and structured way of working
- Very good German and English language skills
Experience
- Several years of experience in the development of hardware (circuit diagram and layout)
- Experience with an ECAD toolchain (preferably Altium Designer)
