Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer

This is your chance to take real ownership of infrastructure within a small, dedicated engineering team - with far more impact than you’d have in a large platform organization. You'll own the systems Dæly runs on end to end, make architectural decisions, and build the infrastructure that carries us through our next phase of growth.

What you'll do.

• Own our Azure infrastructure end to end across reliability, scalability and cost.
• Operate and scale Kubernetes (dev, staging & production), including upgrades, autoscaling, networking and ingress.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD across our cloud stack.
• Support backend development, integrations and production troubleshooting.
• Run observability across logs, metrics, alerting and incident response.
• Improve identity/auth infrastructure and contribute to security & compliance readiness.
• Drive cloud cost optimization.
• Planen und gegebenenfalls Durchführung einer Migration von Azure Germany zu einem in der EU ansässigen Hosting-Anbieter.

What we are looking for.

• Someone with substantial hands-on experience managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters in production, (this is not an entry-level role)
• Deep practical Azure expertise at production scale, including AKS, networking, storage and IAM
• Starke Kubernetes-Architektur- und Betriebskompetenzen
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or similar tooling
• Experience across CI/CD pipelines, service mesh / API gateways, and production identity & auth systems
• Solid backend development skills

Nice to have.

• Cloud migration experience - lift-and-shift or re-architecture - is a strong plus
• Familiarity with EU data residency & compliance is a plus
• German Speaking, based in- or close to Vienna

• € 60-90K gross per year, based on experience.
